I'm a huge Dalai Lama fan, so thanks for the quote :) I also could not agree more about the importance of mutual respect during the divorce process. As an attorney for over 10 years, I've seen the horrible consequences divorces can have on people. When a couple chooses to go through an uncontested divorce, or a divorce mediation, however, things are drastically different. It's all about putting emotions aside and doing what will be in your best interest, the best interest of your spouse, and if children are involved, the best interest of your children above all else. Unfortunately sometimes too many people lose sight of these somewhat basic principles.
